Slam Worldwide delivers the goods yet again! This time, they've brought us a crushingly heavy track from the talented guys in SEASONS AWAKE. I've been following this band for a while now, and they consistently bring something fresh to the table—chaotic, intricate riffs, powerful, guttural vocals, and the added bonus of a killer anime music video (AMV) to seal the deal.

With every release, SEASONS AWAKE seems to level up. That said, while their music is undeniably solid, the production does have room for improvement. The mix feels a bit one-dimensional—there’s not much distinction between the heavier, more intense moments and the smoother, more atmospheric parts. It’s a wall of sound from start to finish, and adding more dynamic range could take their music to the next level.

The vocals, however, are the undeniable highlight. If this band had more polished production, their potential to leave a lasting mark on the music scene would be huge. As someone who doesn’t usually keep up with deathcore, the fact that SEASONS AWAKE has caught my attention speaks volumes about their talent and appeal.

The AMV is another standout feature—an affordable yet highly effective way to pair engaging visuals with their music. The choice of anime fits perfectly with the tone of the track, making it even more captivating. Would I listen to SEASONS AWAKE in my free time? Absolutely. Their songwriting is compelling, but I do hope future releases bring a mix that’s more dynamic and versatile. When that happens, these guys will be unstoppable.

Rating these guys will be a little difficult for me due to me being biased towards one of their member as he is genuinely an awesome person but you gotta do what you gotta do. 

For me, this song would be an 8/10 but the production in my humble opinion drops it to a low but solid:
