Let's open this one with the fact that I've been listening to these guys in the past, for as far as I remember these guys have been grinding for almost as long as me and my band which is definitely commendable. 

OF THE FALLEN is the type of band to show you exactly what deathcore is about, like literally. If I had to call it something it'd be "DEATHCORE 101", is that a bad thing though? Not at all, they are making deathcore in a very typical manner but being original is not needed in this genre we need bands that can do it well and that, they do. 

 When it comes to just pure enjoyment, I did love it. Had to re-listen because it felt like I missed some intricate details in their sound and I definitely did in the first listen. What I love the most here is the fact that these guys don't show any signs of getting worse, these dudes are basically playing deathcore the way it was envisioned originally and they do it brilliantly. 

The fast parts felt organic and not super fast on purpose, you can tell they were meant to setup the slower stuff which is exactly how it should be done. As much as people would call this ''generic'', I call it genius, it reminds me of the early days and I'm here for it. The end breakdown was very very very good also, I love how they abruptly end the song, sometimes you don't want it to drag and it was a perfect ending to me.

Rating this is easy. This song is the epitome of what deathcore should be, some melody, some blasts, some double bass, lots of breakdowns and super all over the place vocal styles which is what one would look for in deathcore.

I might be a little biased here on the fact that I've known these guy's sound for years at this point but I rate it:
